What the file reveals
Ticked details will be removed. Red details are ticked to start with; amber and green are kept unless you tick them.
Size, format and name
The privacy word and the file type are added for you. Avoid names with dates or phone models in them: they can give back what you removed.

What no tool can remove
- Anything you can see in the picture: faces, street signs, reflections, screens.
- The file name, unless you use the neutral name this page suggests.
- A camera's sensor fingerprint, which can link photos to one camera.
- Invisible watermarks woven into the pixels, for example in some AI-generated images.
Check the read-back list before you share a file.
